My version of awesome came in the mail today. Yes, that’s a Phenom II. I have a Phenom socket so I didn’t feel like upgrading my motherboard when it wasn’t necessary. The AM3 sockets are backwards compatible with the AM2 sockets so…Anyway, my birthday came early this year. I’m excited because I’ve been wanting to upgrade from my Phenom 9500 processor and my original CM690 Chassis for a while now. I’m so having a nerd-gasm right now. Even if it’s a small one.
